Goldie is a sweet natured curious llama. We have come to love Goldie very much. She came to our farm to help look after our alpacas, but she has done so much more. Goldie has become the leader of the female group, she is always the first out of the barn and the first in. The alpacas follow her everywhere looking to her for the "safe" ok. She is always on the look out for danger and keeps a close eye on the crias. Goldie showed us a special side this summer when, Evelyn one of our alpacas went into delivery. Goldie went out with her into the field and stood next to her through her whole delivery. When the new cria was born, Goldie was helping Evelyn with everything. In the barn she kept everyone else away and she kept kissing little Jazzmine. Through out Jazzmine's few months here Goldie has been a constant friend. Goldie helped Jazzmine learn how to walk on a lead and they even go for short walks in the woods now. Goldie has also taken to our other little cria Gabby. Goldie will be bred this fall so she can have her own baby. Goldie has shown such a great tenderness and love for her herd. Goldie is a one of a kind llama who we have come to cherish.

Jack Jack is a fun loving playful llama. He has lent us a helping hand, by helping keep our male alpacas in line. They are always challenging this gentle giant who gives them the withering look and sends them on their way. He has added a comfort level to the small herd and they look to him for comfort. Jack Jack had joined our new 4-H club the "Leaping Llamas" with his Nicole. They are enjoying jumping over poles, climbing stairs and of course running to the top of the dirt piles. Jack Jack and Nicole love to go for walks in the woods and they are learning how to get ready for shows. Jack Jack's father is the Famous BAL Whiskers who has won multiple championships and has produced many award winning crias. Nicole and Jack Jack are hoping to soon be ready to win a few ribbons also. Jack Jack's wonderful fiber coloring will be beautiful to spin next spring.
